The Joy and color of a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony, which serves as the visual and thematic center of this piece. You will find a swirl of rich color and shape, a couple stands beneath a flowing Chuppah, surrounded by celebrating family, klezmer musicians, Doves of Peace and glittery stars. By using a variety of techniques and materials including watercolors, acrylics, oils and cut paper, the artist is able to vividly express the joy and festivity of a Jewish wedding.
Ketti Camus was born in Safed. She studied art and design. She has made Safed her home, both living and working in the Old City.
